Steelco For Steel Trading was established in January 2016. It is an independent steel trading company bringing together the strengths & marketing expertise of its founders. Steelco’s management have decades of experience in steel trade and distribution.
FOUNDER & CEO
Jamil started his career in banking in 1997, working for one of the world’s most reputable banks, before moving on in 2003 to join a Jordan based steel trading company as General Manager. There he led the trading & logistics team for 12 years. In Jan 2016 Jamil moved on to establish his own trading compan Steelco For Steel Trading also based in Amman Jordan. Steelco has operated in various international markets both independently and also under JVs & alliances in order to expand its footprint and volume of business in several international markets. In 2017 Steelco For Steel Trading entered into a full partnership with its JV partners and alliances to form Continental Steel Co DMCC, based in Dubai UAE.
CO-FOUNDER
Abdallah started his career in 1999 with the family owned steel & building materials trading and distribution business in Jordan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His contribution to the family run business is widely recognized and he has had a large impact on making the family group of companies the single largest in steel products stocking and distribution today. At the end of 2017 Abdallah and Jamil decided to enter into full partnership with their startup JVs and alliances to form Continental Steel Co DMCC headquartered in Dubai.
